VMworld 2010 - Virtual Roads, Actual Clouds | 30 August - 2 Sept | Moscone Center, San Francisco

This years event sees the organizers having developed more than 170 unique breakout sessions and 30 lab topics offered across the four days. VMworld offers additional learning opportunities with its Knowledge Experts Program, numerous networking events and the Solutions Exchange.

You will find Zeus in the New Innovator Pavilion. We will be showcasing our latest Application Delivery Controller solution the Zeus Elastic Application Delivery platform and the components that make up the platform including the Zeus Traffic Manager, Zeus Multi-Site Manager and Zeus Global Load Balancer.

BrightTalk Online Webinar | Managing Cloud Environments Beyond The Datacenter | 14 September | Online

One of the key promises of Cloud Computing is its ability to free an application from a single, fixed data center and scale or migrate it across a range of environments. Whether you may wish to do this for performance reasons, availability or simply to optimize the opex profile of the application, the ability to manage how users interact with the service is key.

Owen Garrett will be presenting on behalf of Zeus. Owen will use several real-world examples to demonstrate how organizations have successfully used the Cloud to help their operations expand beyond the limitation of their first data center deployment.

3rd Cloud Circle Forum | 16 September | Park Plaza Victoria, London 

The Cloud Circle is the UK’s first independent Business and IT focused Cloud Computing Community.  It was formed in 2009 to provide a forum for its members to exchange ideas,  expertise and best practice on Cloud Computing.

The Cloud Circle Forums focus on the Cloud ‘reality’ through providing practical case studies and real-life examples of Cloud deployments. Invited experts and members are also encouraged to share their Cloud experiences, challenges and success stories in an open and relaxed environment.

Owen Garrett,  Director of Cloud Solutions will be participating in the Big Cloud Debate at the close of the day, where members can take advantage of the opportunity to ‘grill’ him and other key solution providers on the product/solution/service offerings available.

Zeus Traffic Manager Beta Testing Program

We are planning a new release of our Traffic Management software, anticipated mid 2010.  The new release contains features that will be valuable to users who depend on Zeus’ TrafficScript language, users who run on virtual or cloud platforms and, most significantly, organizations who want to gain improved performance, scalability and reliability by deploying applications in multiple locations.

We’re looking for beta testers to deploy and evaluate early versions of this release. If you would like to participate, or if you would just like to be kept up-to-date with progress prior to software release, please complete the short application form.

The content of the beta program is confidential and all participants will be bound by Zeus’ NDA for the duration of the program.

Zeus gets to wear a crown

Tuesday 17 Nov saw us gain further industry recognition for our solution, Zeus Traffic Manager. We were named by the Techworld Awards 2009 as Infrastructure Product of the Year. The solution was recognised for improving network and web-enabled applications by making them faster, more reliable, secure and easier to manage. The award assesses solutions that sit on the network including servers, routers, switches or accelerator/bandwidth shapers. 

So what, I hear you cry!

Well, everyone likes to gain recognition for what they do whether as an individual or a business and we're no different. This award adds weight to the fact that the businesses we talk to on a daily basis continue to see the importance of what our solution can offer them when they are looking to scale their networked application capabilities quickly. As a I am sure some of you will have experienced we place great emphasis on continually improving Zeus Traffic Manager through our R&D team.
